Industrial Technology Department Mission Statement

Welcome to the Applied Technology Center (ATC) at both the East Campus and the West Campus. These facilities symbolize the department's mission statement:

To assist every student to become technologically literate and equipped with the necessary skills to cope and live with, as well as work in, a highly industrial-technological society.

These facilities are unique in design, equipment, and learning atmosphere. The non-traditional environment fosters the role of the teacher as a facilitator of learning. The facilities also encourage the integration of curriculum and the use of cooperative learning. The Applied Technology Centers are the result of years of planning, research, and curriculum development by Lake Park High School staff, and members of the Lake Park community.
