Who can join math team?

·         Any student who enjoys mathematics, likes to work both by themselves and with other students, and has an interest in doing problems beyond the typical “textbook” problems is welcome to join the math team.

When are competitions?

·         We belong to several math leagues. Some competitions are held during the regularly scheduled practices at Lake Park while others are in the evenings at other area schools. The competitions are 1-2 times per month, typically during the week, and occasionally on Saturdays.

Can I join if I am involved in other activities and/or sports?

·         Yes! Since the math team is a year-round activity, you can participate during the fall, winter, and/or spring.
