LAKE PARK HIGH SCHOOL PARTNERS
WITH THE PGA OF AMERICA and MEDINAH COUNTRY CLUB
FOR THE 2012 RYDER CUP
Lake Park High School District 108 has partnered with the PGA of America and Medinah Country Club for the use of Lake Park’s facilities during the 2012 Ryder Cup, which will be held September 25-30, 2012. Due to the close proximity of the school to Medinah Country Club, the school's parking lots will be utilized as shuttle bus terminals, and its buildings will be used for staff and volunteer training. The school will be closed during this week. The agreement includes compensation for the use of the grounds and buildings as well as a commitment by Lake Park High School District 108 to coordinate more than 500 volunteers per day.
